The horse period rappresents the love for horses that Marina has always nurtured dreaming of her own horse since she was little she finally managed to buy her first horse at the age of 18. The horse paintings are a first step in the direction of a more free style and painted with acrylics whereas until now the portraits and landscapes were painted with oilpaint. This new technique results in a series of horsepaintings each one of them completely different from the other in colours and style. Each one of them symbolic for a feeling representing love, family,freedom, motherhood, and many other topics inspired by the emotions she is living the day she paints them.the horses rappresent not only horses but characters like herself and her daughters.
